Most have only minor blemishes (scuffs, scratches). All have been inspected, tested, cleaned and certified by RYOBI. They are then re-boxed in plain cardboard packaging.

Refurbished products come with a new battery, refurbished charger and operating manual.

    RYOBI Refurbished is an initiative that was started to help reduce our environmental impact by giving returned products a second life. These products are thoroughly tested and approved for resale. 

    Are these products checked and tested by RYOBI?

    Yes, all refurbished products have been inspected, tested, cleaned and certified by RYOBI. 

    Are the refurbished products reliable?

    Absolutely! All refurbished products are inspected, tested, cleaned, and certified by RYOBI and have a 90-day limited manufacturer’s warranty on the product and charger. 

    What is refurbished in the kit?

    All the product skins and chargers are refurbished. The battery in the kit is brand new. 

    What is the warranty on RYOBI Refurbished Products?

    All refurbished products and chargers have a 90-day limited manufacturer’s warranty. The battery gets a full 3-year manufacturer’s warranty. 

    Can I buy refurbished products on their own/without a kit?

    Refurbished products are only available as part of pre-packaged kits and are not sold separately. 

    Are there any visible signs of wear on refurbished products?

    You may notice minor cosmetic blemishes such as scuffs or scratches. These do not affect the tool’s performance or functionality. RYOBI has inspected, tested, cleaned, and certified all items. 

    Where can I buy these refurbished products?

    Refurbished kits are available at selected Bunnings stores. For locations, please refer to the store list above. 

    How do I know if a product is refurbished?

    All refurbished products are stamped with the word “REFURBISHED” on the battery well. Some products may have additional stamps around the body (please refer to the images). 

    Can I register my refurbished product on My RYOBI?

    Refurbished products are not eligible for registration on My RYOBI. 

    Can I return a faulty refurbished product?

    Yes, if your tool is faulty within the warranty period, return it to Bunnings with your proof of purchase.

    Why don't I have an extended warranty for the refurbished product?

    Refurbished products are returned products that have been quality-checked and approved for resale. As they are no longer classified as brand new, they do not include the extended warranty offered with full-price products.
