Who can enter?
Only Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over who are existing members of the My RYOBI Community ANZ Facebook Group
Who can't enter?
Directors, officers, management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, and the agencies, companies or participating premises associated with this promotion.
Where will the promotion run?
The promotion will run online only within the My Ryobi Community ANZ Facebook group located at https://www.facebook.com/groups/myryobicommunity
Entry instructions
To enter, during the Promotion Period:
a) You must visit the My Ryobi Community ANZ Facebook group and invite a friend to join using the + Invite icon; and
b) Your friend must accept the invitation and request to join the My Ryobi Community ANZ Facebook group. Member requests will only be accepted into the My Ryobi Community if the new member answers membership questions, is a resident of Australia or New Zealand, is aged 18 years or over, has a profile picture and follows the group rules from the admin. Once membership is granted, your friend must continue their membership and follow My Ryobi Community ANZ up until at least the date a winner is drawn.
What can I win?
There are 30 RYOBI Merch packs available to be won, each valued up to $61 AUD / $67.22 NZD per pack. Each RYOBI Merch pack contains:
• 1 pack of RYOBI shoe charms
• 1 RYOBI Tumbler
• 1 pair of RYOBI Thongs/jandals
• 1 RYOBI PJ Boxers (Male or female sizing available)
• 1 RYOBI PJ top (Female sizing available only)
The actual total value of merch pack will depend on size of items chosen.
How many times can I enter?
Multiple claims permitted, subject to the following:
a) each entry must be substantially unique (i.e. Invite a different friend); and
b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry instructions (i.e. each friend invited to join must request to join and be granted membership to the My Ryobi Community ANZ Facebook group).
How many winners will there be and how will they be chosen?
This is a game of chance. Up to 30 winners will be drawn at random from the valid entries received during the Promotion Period.
The draw will take place at Techtronic Industries Australia Pty Limited, 31 Gilby Road, Mount Waverley VIC 3149 on 10/01/2025 at 10.00 AM AEDT.
The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.
Total prize pool
The total prize pool value is expected to be up to $1,830 AUD / $2016.60 NZD.
How and when will the winner/s be informed?
The winner/s will be notified in writing via a promotional post in the My Ryobi Community ANZ Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/myryobicommunity) on 10/01/2025
Winner/s names will also be published on the RYOBI website at https://www.ryobi.com.au/winners for a period of no less than 28 days.
The winner/s must then contact RYOBI via direct message on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/RyobiAU by 5pm AEDT on 14/02/2025 to be provided with instructions on how to claim their prize. If the winner/s fail to contact RYOBI, the prize will be forfeited.
General
- These Terms and Conditions incorporate and must be read together with the details outlined above. Information about prizes and how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering, you accept these Terms and Conditions.
- Your claim must be received during the Promotion Period and will be deemed to be received only when received by the Promoter. No entries will be accepted outside this time unless extended by the Promoter. No responsibility will be accepted for late or misdirected claims. Any misrepresentation or fraudulent information supplied by an entrant disqualifies their claim(s).
- Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not claim a prize (or an element of the prize) by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
- The prize, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Prizes and all elements of prizes must be taken as specified, as and when offered and cannot be altered or changed in any way by you or will be forfeited, and if forfeited, the Promoter will not be liable. If you forfeit the prize or any element of the prize for whatever reason, you will not be given cash or any alternative prize as a substitute.
- A draw for any prize, if unclaimed, may take place on 10/03/2025 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. The winners, if any, will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw via the promotional post comments in the My RYOBI Community ANZ group. Winners’ names will be published online at https://www.ryobi.com.au/winners from 12/03/2025.
- If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal (or greater) value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and eligible entrants (including an eligible entrant’s identity and place of residence) and to disqualify any eligible entrant who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the claim process. Suitable forms of verification are at the discretion of the Promoter. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion.
- If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
- The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who it has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.
- The Promoter is not liable for any problems with communications networks. You are responsible for your own costs associated with entering and claiming. If you enter using automatically generated entries or multiple phone numbers/email addresses/addresses/aliases, you may be disqualified.
- Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of a claimant receiving a product are the sole responsibility of the eligible entrant or participant.
- If any dispute arises between you and the Promoter concerning the conduct of this promotion or claiming a prize, the Promoter will take reasonable steps to consider your point of view, taking into account any facts or evidence you put forward, and to respond to it fairly within a reasonable time. In all other respects, the Promoter’s decision in connection with all aspects of this promotion is final.
- The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and related entities of the Promoter. Some of these third parties are located outside Australia and New Zealand, by entering into this Promotion an entrant is consenting to the disclosure of an entrant’s PI to entities outside of Australia and New Zealand. Entry into the promotion may be conditional on providing certain PI. The Promoter will also use and handle all PI as set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. In addition to any use that may be outlined in these Terms and Conditions and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research, survey and profiling purposes, including sending emails/electronic messages, SMS or telephoning the entrant. The Promoter’s Privacy Policy also contain information about how entrants may opt out of any communication, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a privacy breach or concern and how those complaints will be dealt with.
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under any statute including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any social media platform, including Facebook, Instagram or Youtube. You provide your information to the Promoter and not to any social media platform. Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter and not to any relevant social media platform.
- Entry and continued participation in this Promotion is dependent on entrants following and acting in accordance with the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, which can be viewed at www.facebook.com/terms.php.
- Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights.
- The laws of Victoria, Australia apply to this promotion and these Terms and Conditions. Entrants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
