Wooden/Timber Door Lock Installation Kit

The RYOBI Wooden/Timber Door Lock Installation Kit provides essential accessories to mount a lock set and deadbolt to a timber door. It simplifies the installation process by accurately aligning holes with the strike plate (metal plate on the door frame).

This Kit features a Bracket with an Auto-Strike Locator™, 54mm Hole Saw, Arbor with Pilot Bit, 25mm Spade Bit and Spade Bit Guide, 2.4mm Black Oxide Drill Bit, PH2/SL8-10 Double Ended Driving Bit and 2 x Mounting Screws.

Eliminates guesswork
The Bracket’s Auto-Strike Locator ensures precise, measurement-free alignment of the door and strike plate. It securely attaches to doors with mounting screws to create accurate holes every time.
The Bracket is compatible with standard 60mm and 70mm backsets*, and common door thicknesses of 35mm and 44mm.

Precise installation
To drill your cross bore (large hole for the lock) and latch bore (smaller hole for the latch), use the Holesaw, Spade Bit and Spade Bit Guide with a drill driver (not included).

The deep cross bore guide on the Auto-Strike Locator provides enhanced stability, supporting straighter drilling with the included Hole Saw, Arbor and Pilot Bit.

A Spade Bit Guide keeps the Spade Bit centred and steady to produce a straight latch hole.
