Timber/Metal Door Lock Installation Kit

The RYOBI Timber/Metal Door Lock Installation Kit has all the accessories needed to mount a new lock set and deadbolt to a metal-clad door. It makes the installation process simpler by aligning the holes with the strike plate (metal plate on the door frame).

This Kit includes a Bracket with an Auto-Strike Locator, 54mm Bi-Metal Hole Saw, Arbor with Pilot Bit, 25mm Spade Bit and Spade Bit Guide, 2.4mm Bronze Oxide Drill Bit, PH2/SL8-10 Double-Ended Driving Bit and 2 x Mounting Screws.

Eliminates guesswork
The Bracket has an Auto-Strike Locator to ensure precise, measurement-free alignment of the door and strike plate (metal plate on the door frame). It securely attaches to doors with an integrated clamp to produce aligned holes.
The Bracket is adjustable for use with standard 60mm and 70mm backsets* and common door thicknesses of 35mm and 44mm.

Enhanced precision
To drill your cross bore (large hole for the lock) and latch bore (smaller hole for the latch), use the Holesaw, Spade Bit and Spade Bit Guide with a standard drill driver (not included).

The extra deep cross bore guide on the Auto-Strike Locator provides enhanced stability, supporting straighter drilling with the included Hole Saw, Arbor and Pilot Bit.

A Spade Bit Guide keeps the Spade Bit centred and steady to produce a straight latch hole.
