Self-Centering Door Hingle Drill Bit

Use the RYOBI 3.2mm (?”) Self-Centring Door Hinge Drill Bit to create pilot holes for door hinges with precision and alignment, every time. The Drill Bit’s bevelled nose self-centres when pressed into a door hinge hole.

With precisely-centred pilot holes, you can ensure screws always will be installed flush with the surface of the hinge.

Drilling off-centre holes for door hinge screws can prevent a door from opening and closing properly, leading to uneven gaps along the length of the door and causing premature wear and tear on closing mechanisms.

This Drill Bit produces pilot holes in timber, suitable for installing #8, #10 and #12 gauge screws. Dual clearance holes on the plastic shaft enable debris to eject while you’re drilling, minimising blockages.

Inside the Drill Bit’s housing is a replaceable HSS Drill Bit with sharpened edges to produce faster, cleaner holes. Remove the HSS Drill Bit by loosening the integrated grub screw. This ensures you can use the same self-centring mechanism for long, repetitive jobs.

The ¼” hex shank ensures a secure grip in drill driver and impact driver chucks.
